Born in 1966 in Kayseri, Ahmet Kibar obtained his Master’s degree from the University of New Haven, which is located in Connecticut, USA, after graduating from the Business Administration Department of Marmara University.
Having taken up several different positions at various levels at Kibar Holding in the 1980s, Ahmet Kibar began took up the position of member of the Executive Board in the companies of the Group in 1991.
Ahmet Kibar is a member of the Turkish Aluminum Industry Association (TALSAD) and the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) , as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Turkey Disabled Persons Sport Aid and Education Organization (TESYEV) and a member of the Executive Board of the Kibar Education and Social Aid Foundation. Moreover, he carries out various activities in several social welfare institutions.
