Kibar Group continues to expand and enhance the K-STAR Supplier Sustainability Program, which was launched for the Group‘s suppliers in 2023. In the new phase, the K-STAR RISE digital training program aims to reach 1,071 suppliers across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.
Developed by Kibar Group with the motto “Information for a Sustainable Future, Unity for Transformation,” the K-STAR RISE program will serve as a comprehensive digital training platform contributing to suppliers’ green transformation processes.
Kibar Group is taking the K-STAR (Kibar Sustainable Tomorrow for Accelerated Results) Supplier Sustainability Program, launched in 2023, to a new level. Developed with the motto “Information for a Sustainable Future, Unity for Transformation,” K-STAR RISE is being launched as a digital training platform aimed at enhancing suppliers’ knowledge, awareness, and compliance across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.
Gonca Yılmaz Batur, Vice President of Group Procurement at Kibar Holding, said regarding the program: “K-STAR RISE is a natural continuation of the K-STAR Supplier Sustainability Program, which we launched in 2023. Through K-STAR RISE, we aim to further strengthen the culture of sustainability across our supplier network. Our goal is to stand alongside our business partners in their green transformation journeys and, together with them, build a solidarity model strengthened by knowledge. Because at Kibar Group, we believe that transformation is possible through knowledge and together.”
In the initial phase, training is planned to be provided to 1,071 suppliers
The platform offering specialized training content was launched on November 24, 2025. The platform offers concise, effective, and accessible content across four ESG modules, under 16 main headings and 83 subheadings. Upon completion of videos supported by professional voice-over and animations, participants are awarded a digital certificate. In the initial phase, the platform aims to reach 1,071 suppliers.
Within the scope of the program, four ESG modules—‘Green Future: Introduction to Sustainability,’ ‘The Power of Nature: Environmental Sustainability,’ ‘Valuing People: Social Sustainability,’ and ‘Ethical Leadership: The Sustainable Governance Journey’—address the environmental, social, and governance foundations, while the module titled ‘The Power of Competence: Investment in Knowledge and Skills’ will support suppliers’ personal and professional development. In this way, the program offers a knowledge-based transformation across various areas, ranging from sustainability and negotiation skills to a holistic perspective and ethical leadership.
K-STAR RISE reflects Kibar Group’s vision of making sustainability a lasting part of its entire ecosystem, extending beyond its own operations. The platform aims to strengthen suppliers’ compliance with current regulations while fostering a more resilient, informed, and sustainable framework for long-term partnerships.
