At the Stars of the Steel Exports ceremony, where the companies that carry out the most exports in 2017 are rewarded by the Steel Exporters’ Association (ÇİB); the Kibar Holding subsidiaries Kibar Dış Ticaret, Assan Panel and Posco Assan were deemed worthy of the star of exports award.

2017 Stainless Steel Category Winner Posco Assan
Posco Assan TST, which has the first and only stainless steel cold rolling mill in Turkey, received an award in the “STAINLESS EXPORT CATEROGY”. Established in 2011 with the partnership of Kibar Holding, Pohang Iron and Steel Company (POSCO) and Daewoo International and aiming to provide its customers with high-quality products and fast services beyond their expectations, Posco Assan TST has the certifications ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, PED 97/23/EC & AD 2000 Merkblatt W0 and ISO/IEC27001.
Kibar Dış Ticaret Keeps On Sweeping Up the Export Awards
Having recently been awarded in the category of Aluminium Coil & Sheet and Foil at the “Metallic Stars of Export” award ceremony organized by İDDMİB, Kibar Dış Ticaret now received an award in the “STAINLESS EXPORT CATEROGY” at the ceremony organized by the Steel Exporters’ Association. As an original representative of the strong trade culture of the Kibar Group, Kibar Dış Ticaret has increased the Kibar Group’s foreign trade volume to 1.5 million tons/year. Along with its foreign trade company, the Kibar Group aims to lead the foreign trade initiatives that have begun in Turkey.
Assan Panel Production Capacity Rises to 18 Million Square Meters
As one of the essential players of the sandwich panel industry, Assan Panel received an award in the category “CONSTRUCTION PARTS EXPORT”. Having begun operating in 1990 as a subsidiary of Kibar Holding; Assan Panel completed its investment for a second production line with the capacity of 3.5 million m²/year in Istanbul, increasing its total established capacity to 18 million m²/year. The company’s facilities in Jordan is the largest sandwich panel manufacturer in the Middle East. The company grants their users an access to the analysis regarding exports by launching the Assan Panel mobile application, which is a first in Turkey.
