Last year, the steel industry reached an export volume of $15.6 billion. The largest exporting companies operating in the industry were awarded by the Steel Exporters' Association. Kibar Holding group companies Posco Assan, Kibar Dış Ticaret, and Assan Panel have been awarded for their export performances.
Operating with the aim of increasing the export potential of the Turkish steel industry, Steel Exporters' Association awarded the companies that achieved to become the top exporters in the industry.
Winner of Stainless Steel Export Award, Posco Assan
Operating under Kibar Group, Posco Assan ranked first in the stainless steel export category. Adnan Aslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Steel Exporters' Association, presented the award to Ufuk Özdemir, Posco Assan CAO.
Kibar Dış Ticaret, on the other hand, became the second-largest exporter in the category of profile export with its performance in 2018. The company's Trade Director Nezih Kırımlı received the award on behalf of Kibar Dış Ticaret.
Assan Panel, another Kibar Group company that received an award at the organization, achieved the third place in the construction components category. Assan Panel General Manager Tolga Akar received the award from Adnan Aslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Steel Exporters' Association.
