Kibar Holding Receives Export Award From TIM

The 28th Ordinary General Meeting of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) and the 2020 Export Champions Award Ceremony were held in Istanbul, hosted by TIM President İsmail Gülle along with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. As one of the companies of Kibar Holding, Kibar Dış Ticaret which conducts the Group exports, was ranked as the fifth company in Turkey with the export volume of approximately 2 billion dollars in 2020, while also being chosen as the first in the category of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals this year.

Kibar Dış Ticaret ranked fifth in Turkey due to its export rates in 2020, and ranked first once again in the sector, according to the list of "Top 1000 Exporters" announced every year by the Turkish Exporters' Assembly.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kibar Holding, Ali Kibar received the prize from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey on behalf of Kibar Dış Ticaret, and the other prize obtained as the first in the sector was given by the Minister of Treasury and Finance, Lütfi Elvan.

Kibar Holding’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Ali Kibar, noted that as an exporting Group, they focus on improving their contribution to the country's economy each year and added "Export is the driving force for our country's economy. We, as Kibar Group, export 60 percent of all that we produce. For some sectors, this rate can be up to 90 percent of all products. We shape the market in our sector in Western Europe as we have a sense of production that is adaptable to each part of the world. We have achieved significant growth in America. In the near future, we plan to focus on different regions and to take steps to strengthen our presence in different markets. In addition to this, we will continue our efforts to make our country an important actor in the global supply chain.”
