'Kibar Volunteers,' playing a key role in Kibar Holding’s corporate social responsibility efforts since its establishment in 2018, has been dedicated to children and education. Through its initiatives promoting equal opportunities in education, it has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of children.
On International Volunteer Day, Haluk Kayabaşı, CEO of Kibar Holding, stated that by being actively involved in the Kibar Volunteers program, they have launched numerous projects focused on education and children. Kayabaşı said, "During this period, we have completed over 6,000 hours of volunteer work with our 1,020 volunteers and organized 143 activities to date, focusing on education and children. We have signed protocols with six schools in İzmit, Istanbul, Susurluk, İskenderun, and Dilovası, establishing sustainable partnerships. Our volunteers have not only addressed the physical needs of these schools but also implemented projects to support their social, cultural, and academic development. Finally, recognizing the importance of supporting our children’s development in various sports disciplines, we have built an athletics track at Tuzla Mimar Sinan Primary School for the students' use."
Kayabaşı also stated that Kibar Volunteers is committed to deepening its volunteering approach by partnering with more non-governmental organizations to develop projects in areas such as gender equality and sustainability in the upcoming period, in addition to its ongoing focus on education and children. Emphasizing that volunteering at Kibar Group is not viewed as a mere one-day effort or fleeting endeavor, Kayabaşı explained, "For us, volunteering is a sustainable value that deepens over the years, growing ever stronger through our relationships with stakeholders. With this mindset, we are committed to making a positive impact on our society and continuing to make a difference, as we always have."
